This PPP project involves the design, financing, construction, maintenance, insurance, facility management and commercial exploitation of limited spaces of a Government House for the Prefecture of Chalkidiki in Poligiros. The duration of the Partnership is 25 years. Contracting Authority of this project is the Hellenic Public Real Estate Corporation.

This project is part of the strategic plan of the Prefecture of Chalkidiki for solving the accommodation problem of the Region, by replacing leased buildings with a modern one, reducing operating costs and enhancing the infrastructure via the effective maintenance and integrated facility management, so as to satisfy the required construction and operational standards and to reduce all operational costs.

The estimated cost (NPV) of the Partnership amounts to 49 million euros, plus VAT. The heavy maintenance and insurance costs of the buildings are not included in this figure and are estimated up to 20% of the total budget of the project.

This partnership appears as fully repaid. The Private Partner will be given the option to exploit commercial spaces of the new Government House, along with the exploitation of other estates for a certain time period.
