The "PPP Manual" for the implementation of Public Private Partnerships is a publication of the Special Secretariat for PPPs. This manual aims at the diffusion of knowledge and know-how relative to the implementation of PPP projects to all parties, which may be interested in this new instrument of financing the public works and services. It covers a range of topics relative to the nature in general of the PPP schemes, the applicable legal framework, the funding structure and mechanism of PPP projects and the procedures that should be followed for the inclusion of such schemes under the provisions of Law 3389/2005. This guide is part of the constant efforts of the Special Secretariat for PPPs for the information of all parties and our aim is to continuously update it with all new issues arising from the implementation of the first projects in our country. Our belief is that, through this publication, a series of queries relative to the Public Private Partnerships will be answered and all interested parties will find it a usefully tool.
